Starting in February next year begins Gotlandsflyg operate between Visby-Mora. The goal is to attract Gotlanders to Dalarna on a skiing holiday.
To meet a demand Korstäppans Mansion and Siljansnäs Cabins started a new and exciting partnership. The ambition is to offer a concept that is quite a contrast to what Salen and the mountains offer, where you instead want to focus on genuine dala environment, choice, personal services, recreation and balance between different activities. In other words, less stress and more time for breathing and experiences.
- We want to offer a "slow vacation" where the guests can pick their stay, says Sophie Resare, CEO of Korstappan Manor. Thanks to our partnership with Siljansnäs holiday village guests can choose to live in a cottage with self catering or to stay at four star hotel with half board. In addition, we provide a smorgasbord of different options, including packed lunches to the slopes, dinner catering, equipment, lift tickets, ski lessons with educational and trained teachers and more. We also offer shuttle service for those who wish.
Simple, relaxed and accessible
Sophie says that guests earn both time and money to stay in the Siljan area where all the ingredients for a successful skidåkarweekend there.
- You do not walk another hour north when it landed in the Siljan area, the guest is already in a winter wonderland. We give the guest the entire winter fun and a halving of travel time. We have no black ski slopes or röjiga after-ski entertainment in Spruce Mountain, the alpine plant that we work with, but the hill on the other hand, a situation that make others green with envy. It is a smart and very funny skidval as for the whole family is located directly at the gateway to the Siljan area. Another advantage is that Granberg five runs - the longest at 1100 meters - culminates in a single lift station., It makes it easy to keep the family together and get an overview. There is also a children's slope beside and restaurant, ski shop and ski school. And for those who are really good tracks, at the hill, near the holiday village in Siljansnäs and directly outside the hotel door at Korstäppans Manor. Along with Siljansnäs holiday village, we have created a powerful concept that stands up well in competition, and this is as close as 45 minutes from the airport to Mora.
- In addition, the district offers a host of other feel-good activities if you want to do something other than just skiing. This can be helpful to know if the guest looking for variety during their stay in Dalarna, or if the temperature drops and you are looking for any other activity at the current day. This guest will be short, less vulnerable, while freedom of choice remains. And all this at close range.
Fact:
Gotlandsflyg flying to Mora, starting on February 16, departing two days a week, Thursdays and Sundays. Primarily occurs flights until April 9.

PRESS INFORMATION
Quality favorable market Conference
Korstappan Estate in Leksand, Dalarna, sums up the summer, noting that quality wins in the long run. The focus on a combination of only Nordic and organic food in season is not only a fresh boost to the restaurant, it has also been shown to contribute to an increase in the number of conference participants.
- Long-term commitment and credibility is critical to winning the guest's trust, says Sophie Resare, CEO of Korstappan Manor. Quality wins over quantity. Korstäppans Manor is one of the first players in Sweden, which invests in a combination of only Nordic and organic food in season.
- "Locally produced food" popping up everywhere in Sweden, but are studying menus closer look at how watered down the concept of becoming, says Sophie Resare, CEO of Korstappan Manor. We want to do things properly and in earnest and it obviously gives results.
Sophie says cheerfully that the initiative also "spill over" to conference guests who appreciate the overall concept offered at Korstappan.
- Guests notice of our creativity, we attempt a bit more. What we offer tastes very good and is also more healthy and beneficial. It is not about to throw in pears and bananas in a conference room, those days are over - at least for us.
Sophie talks about the importance to be one step ahead, always do your best and have a holistic approach.
- Guest should understand that they have a good environment and that we do things with quality. Thank you prefer no to things we do not believe.
Bright outlook
In the holistic approach that Sophie is talking about is contained also the exercise-related opportunities available in Korstäppans immediate surroundings.
- We encourage our guests to create spaces for various activities in the local environment, especially now that we can offer a four kilometer long promenade along the Siljan water, just a stone's throw away.
The trend we are seeing now may mean more jobs at Korstappan.
- The recent successes may mean that we are facing a break point how we will fill this in the future. There may be talk of hiring. I am very pleased with the trip we started - and that the guests like the investment that we make.
