Our chefs are working only with the Nordic & organic ingredients in season, including beverage range is eco & fair trade. With an inviting atmosphere and surroundings in the heart of Dalarna and close to Lake Siljan, we give you a combination of taste and experience in our restaurant. Restaurant Joanna is large and airy, can seat 120 guests and offers a wonderful view of the manor park and lake Siljan. A lively restaurant is feast for both body and soul.
After that day when Esther Hanngren knocked on the Joanna Heijkenskjöld on Korstappan and presented his vision of a hotel and recreation movement, was not the same on Korstappan longer.
Joanna & Esther started and planned. With Joanna's money, they converted the Korstappan to the hotel for the affluent society of the tourists. Word spread quickly about the excellent hotel overlooking the lake and the distant blue mountains. From a life of torpor filled the house of royalty, writers and noble families, one can only imagine the interesting conversations that took place in the salons in the evenings.
We named our restaurant after Joanna in honor of her work when she funded the start of Esther's vision 1906th
