Spring & summer
As the days grow longer, there is plenty to discover outdoors. Take a walk along Lake Siljan, bring a picnic and find your favourite spot by the water or continue towards the centre of Leksand.
During summer, Leksand Sommarland is a popular day out for families, with a water park, rides and activities for children of all ages.
You can also take a trip to Tällberg, around 15 minutes by car from Korstäppan. Explore the picturesque village and stop for waffles or a traditional Swedish fika at Dalmål Kafé & Hantverk.
Autumn
Autumn is a lovely time for exploring Leksand and its surroundings. Take a walk among the autumn colours, explore the centre of Leksand or head out on a day trip around Lake Siljan.
When the weather calls for an indoor activity, Leksandshallen is within walking distance of Korstäppan and offers swimming for the whole family.
During the autumn school holidays, several attractions around Dalarna also offer special activities and events, so it is worth checking what is on during your stay.
Winter
When the snow arrives, there are plenty of winter activities to enjoy around Leksand. Go sledding, try cross-country skiing or spend a day on the slopes at Granberget.
For a slightly longer day trip, Sagolandet Tomteland outside Mora brings its fairytale world to life during selected periods in winter.
After a day outdoors, warming up with a hot drink and a Swedish fika is always a good idea.
All year round
Some days are simply made for indoor activities. Leksandshallen is within walking distance of Korstäppan and offers swimming and a sauna.
In central Leksand you will also find shops, cafés and restaurants, while the area around Lake Siljan offers plenty of places to explore together.
